Population Leaders:

We work in close collaboration with Packard fellows/population leaders. Most of the leaders are associated with us as resource persons and partners in our programmes. This helps us in using the competencies and expertise of the leaders and also in building strong network and a platform to share health, population and reproductive health issues. The Institute’s commitment to health and population is reflected by the great number of alumni acting as population leaders.

In LDOE programme capacity building and leadership development is the continuous process and leadership development for mobilizing reproductive health (LDM) has been engaged in this process from time to time. Under the LDOE grant, ICOMP in collaboration with XISS is also engaged with various stakeholders in the health sector in Bihar and Jharkhand, for leadership development and some of these stakeholders are also the Packard fellows. All the three organizations (ICOMP, IIE and XISS) are great resources for leadership development programs and to capitalize on this synergy, a joint leadership development workshop for selected fellows was organized from February 21st to 26th in two batches.
