Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, commenced its two-day Annual Fest, 'Panache 2024', on February 9, within its campus premises. This event, themed "52 Deck of Cards," celebrated the seasons of the year, with each deck of cards representing a different season. This inter-college fest included participation from XISS, St. Xavier’s College Ranchi, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Amity University, Ranchi University, and Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University. The two-day event extravaganza encompasses a series of activities ranging from a Marathon to Treasure Hunt and many more.

Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, Director, XISS, inaugurated the fest and emphasised that Panache represents a confident and stylish approach to tasks perceived as distinct. It is overwhelming to see the students organise such a wonderful event annually and I extend my best wishes to each one present here. This two-day fest is surely going to be a wonderful time for one and all.

This two-day extravaganza began with Runathon, a marathon, followed by Scavenger Hunt, Jam Street, Face Painting, Cooking without Fire, Open Mic, Xigyasa 3.0 – The Business Quiz, On Your Toes, Photography and Reel Competition, Fashion Show, and the Battle of Bands.

Day 1 of the event witnessed captivating performances by students, featuring a plethora of fun-filled extravaganza events. Students actively participated in various activities, engaging in both enjoyment and valuable learning experiences.

RJ Rashi skillfully hosted the Battle of Bands, captivating the audience throughout the event. Walk the Ramp event was judged by Femina Miss India Jharkhand 2022, Ms Riya Tirkey, Mr Atul Gera, Ms Rachna Tiwari, and Ms Khyati Munjal who chose ‘Ms Panache’ Ms Suman Kacchap, and ‘Mr Panache’ Mr Aditya Anand. Setting the night on fire, an amazing performance by Indian Idol Fame Shagun Pathak set everyone’s foot tapping. The night extravaganza concluded with DJ Akash Makkar ruling the hearts of all.
