Mr Salil Lal, Executive Vice President, CHRO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), delivered an insightful interaction in a Lead Excellence Talk for students on 26 October 2023 about Maruti Suzuki, an Indian subsidiary of Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation. He discussed about the significant impact of MSIL on the automotive industry in India. The CHRO during the session discussed about how the MSIL revolutionized Auto Industry through its values. He mentioned 5 core values:

1. Customer Obsession

2. Openness and Learning i.e. culture of equality, excellence and collaboration, open office approachability and work life balance.

3. Innovation and Creativity i.e. incubation program for mobility startups.

4. Networking and Partnership

Mr Lal also talked about the Era of Transformation which reflects Maruti Suzuki's ability to adopt the evolving market dynamics, technology advancements, and consumer demands.

Thirdly the mission of MSIL is to deliver the " Joy of Mobility" to as many Indian people as possible. The session was concluded by a question answer round and quiz.
