ABSTRACT:
The prime objective of this paper is to identify the areas where immediate intervention of drones are required according to the frontline healthcare workers and also investigate the area where the application of drones are highly demanded. The extensive literature review has established that there are certain gaps in this research. Firstly, very few researches are conducted considering the impact of drones in healthcare sector. Secondly, the factors considered for this research has very less application in other researches. Thirdly, Covid-19 pandemic has made the realisation among the frontline healthcare workers the importance of Drones. The study is based on an explanatory research consisting of 162 comprised of frontline health workers in Kolkata District. A simple random sampling is done to select the sample. Primary data is collected through questionnaire based on 5-point Likert scale and reliability of the instrument i.e. Cronbach’s alpha=0.75. The data is analysed and hypotheses are tested through SPSS-21 software. The findings of the study reveal that the usage and effect of drones in the healthcare sector was blurred or predictable.
