The above mentioned wait listed candidates can take admission from 20-30 April, 2011.


At the time of admission selected candidates must bring the following original certificates:

1. 10th Mark Sheet
2. 12th Mark Sheet
3. Graduation Mark Sheet
4. Post Graduation Mark Sheet (if applicable)
5. XAT Score Card
6. Seven Colour Passport Size Photograph
7. Caste Certificate (SC and ST)
8. Baptism Certificate (Christian)
9. Demand Draft of Rs. 53,000/- in favour of “Xavier Institute of Social Service”, Payable at “Ranchi”.
10. College Leaving Certificate (CLC)

Admission Notice 2011-2013

Details:

Applications are invited for the two-year full-time post graduate diploma course in:

  1. PGDM-Personnel Management
  2. PGDM-Rural Development
  3. PGDM-Information Management
  4. PGDM-Finance
  5. PGDM-Marketing

Seats Available:

Total number of seats available is seventy five (75) each in Personnel Management and Rural Development andsixty (60) each in Information Management, Finance andMarketing Management programs. Out of the above fifty percent seats are reserved for SC/ST and Christiancandidates.

Eligibility for Admission:

Minimum qualification for admission to the two yearsfull-time post-graduate management programs at theInstitute is three years bachelor?s degree in any disciplinerecognized by Association of Indian Universities. Howeverpreference will be given to Engineering, Economics,Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduatesand candidates with relevant work experience.

Candidates appearing for their final year or final semester oftheir graduate degree examination in academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to appear for the admission process.Such candidates, if called for interview, should submitthe copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of thecollege where they are studying to that effect.

Admission Procedure:

Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as per the guidelines of AICTE. These stages are:
  1. All India Management Admission Test (XAT)
  2. Group Discussion
  3. Personal Interview
A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the Institutewill have to appear in an all India level managementadmission test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur (XAT 2011) onJanuary 2nd 2011. For admission to batches 2011-13, scoresof only XAT 2011 will be accepted.

Candidates will have toapply online for appearing in XAT 2011 by visiting www.xlri.net.in and will have to select XISS as affiliated institute.

Based on XAT 2011 scores, candidates who have appliedfor admission at the institute will be shortlisted and will becalled for Group Discussion and Personal Interview to beheld at the institute premises in the month of February/March 2011.
