Population and Reproductive Health Programme of the institute trains
competent, committed and creative Reproductive Health (RH) professionals
for the voluntary sector and also develop the perspective understanding and
technical skills of the staff of NGOs to effectively implement RH programmes.

The Programme:
The programme seeks to build the capacity of potential rural development professionals and also personnel of various voluntary organizations working and keen to work on RH issues in Jharkhand. The programme envisions to train competent, committed and creative Reproductive Health professionals for the voluntary sector and also develop the perspective, understanding and technical skills of the staff of NGOs to enable them to effectively implement RH programmes. The idea is to prepare the budding Rural Development professionals to render their expertise and skills in different organizations working on RH/ FP issues where they seek placements. Along the same lines the personnel of voluntary organizations are to be trained and equipped to handle issues related to Reproductive Health in their respective operational areas after proper environment building and mobilization.
