Dr. Anant Kumar is Assistant Professor in Department of Rural Development at Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Before joining XISS, Dr Kumar worked as Program Officer with Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Population Leadership Program in India. Trained in Psychology and Social Medicine & Community Health at the University of Allahabad, and Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Dr. Kumar began his career as a psychologist and public health professional. He is associated with various organizations and professional groups and has been published in several national and international journals. Dr Kumar is Managing Editor of Journal of Health and Development. Dr Kumar is South Asia Representative for Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research Task Group on Global Health Research Partnerships. His areas of work and research interests are public health, women’s health, mental health, population and reproductive health, international health, public health policy and leadership.
Dr. Sant Kumar Prasad is Assistant Coordinator in Development Resource centre at Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi and Team Leader at Community Leadership Program. His Qualification Includes PGDRD from XISS and M.A and LLB from Ranchi University. He has 27 years of Professional experience in teaching and training students in Panchayati Raj, PRA, Micro Planning, Project Planning, SHGs, NGO Management, Community Development and People's Building in the field of Rural Development.
Mr. Prakash Kumar is Assistant Project officer under Leadership Development and Organizational Effectiveness programme in collaboration with ICOMP, Malaysia and supported by the David and Lucile Packard foundation with Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi at its Development Resource Centre since January 2009. He has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from XISS in 2007. He began his career being associated with BASIX India Ltd working in the field of livelihood. He is also associated with Global Fund Round-7 Counseling Component as a Master Trainer for HIV/AIDS counseling. With his past year’s experience, he has gained experience to address issues like Health and Livelihood. Strong Facilitations skills, documentation and Project Management are his key strength.
Mr. Bhaskar Chakraborty is Assistant Project officer in Community Leadership Programme at XISS. He has about 5 years of working experience with reputed organizations, most of which are of National level. He has completed his post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi. His core strengths lie in coordination and implementation through partner organizations, timely completion of project activities, budget analysis, Qualitative outputs and of course Liaoning. Monitoring and evaluation form an integral part of his work.
Mr. Dheeraj Danial Horo is Assistant Project officer in Community Leadership Programme at XISS. He has about 5 years of working experience with reputed organizations like KGVK. He has completed his post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi. His core strengths lie in Health, Governance, Livelihood and Education. He is competent in Facilitations skills, documentation and community mobilization. He was also awarded the NTPC gold medal for securing the 1st rank in Rural Development stream.
Anne Smrity Minz is associated with Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi as Assistant Project Officer at its Development Resource Centre since July 2009.At XISS she is involved with Global Fund to Fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria Round -7 linked with NACP-III, supported by Tata Institute of Social Sciences,Mumbai.I am as a Master Trainer, Supportive supervisor and Training Assistant in GFATM-7 Project. I have done my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (Year: 2006-2008)from XISS, Ranchi and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts, From: St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, Jharkhand,(Year: 2002-2005). I began my career with CASA, Raipur in the Right based Program i.e land , water and forest Rights. I have been associated with JSACS as a Team Leader in External Evaluation of TI Projects as well as in the Joint Appraisal Team as a Technical Supervisor for selection of TI Project. In the Past Years I have built my strength in Health and Right based issues. I believe in innovation and love challenges. |
